Andy P. Miller

Supervising Attorney

Andy P. Miller represents clients in need of consultation who are under investigation, or who face a variety of criminal offenses.  Mr. Miller understands that many cases are won or lost before the parties and their lawyers even enter a courtroom, which is why he puts painstaking preparation into each and every case, leaving no aspect to chance.  His ability to organize and interpret large and complex amounts of information enables him to effectively present unique defenses to judges or juries.

Additionally, Attorney Miller is a tireless crusader for protecting constitutional rights.  He's the first one in our group who wins cases on a legal point.  His considerations include:

  • Did the police conduct a search where evidence was seized from your home, car, or person?  If so, can the legality of the search be challenged by a Motion to Suppress?

  • Did the police detain you or arrest you?  Did the police question you, and if so, did you make a statement to the police?  Where you properly "Miranda-ized?"  If not, is this statement and any evidence it lead to admissible at trial or can it be suppressed?  How damaging is it to your case?  How will your defense strategy change based on the admissibility of the evidence or statements?

When our clients are headed for trial, they want Attorney Miller at their side.  He's the one with opening statements that "wow" the jury, who knows how to set the stage for reasonable doubt, and whose technique for discrediting the police officer on cross has been referred to as "second to none."  Of late, his peers cite Andy's ability to "read people" as an art - an ability that creates a dynamic and powerful relationship with jurors.

Andy Miller attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, The Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, and is an active member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
